Why Us? 

In a time when every decision counts, every dollar spent is precious; every action taken is a possibility to heal our dear life force on Earth, that said, WHY US?  Nearly 40% of the proceeds go to incredible programs that either help with reforestation, habitat regeneration for wildlife (buffer zones), and cultural arts programs that stimulate sustainable economic relief in extremely poor areas in Costa Rica as well as other locations served by our fiscal sponsor, Living Dream Arts.  The principle recipient, Jaguar Luna Cultural Arts Collective, has devoted its activities to directly assist Costa Ricans.  It is a 3-tier ownership with a target to turn the Center completely over to the “Ticos” (nickname for Costa Ricans) within the next 10 years.  We offer up to 4-weeks vacation pay and profit sharing to our Tico team who helped build everything by hand.  3 Tico families are supported by our project.  In the last 6 years of development we have converted a cow pasture into a food forest.  With your participation in our programs, the rehabilitation and rejuvenation of lands continues at a velocity which our ailing Earth needs now—not in 1 year, not in 5 years, but NOW.  The money you spend stays in Costa Rica and goes into local’s hands.  We are committed to offering a unique environment, beyond a mere ‘hotel-like’ atmosphere; we have taken great pride in creating fun, magical, and functional facilities.  Here, in the deep south of Costa Rica, next to the Panama border, one can witness and–PROTECT– the area from damaging developments and stress from high tourism regions.  One can ‘feel’ old Costa Rica and the essence of ‘Pura Vida’.  We hope you will join us, offset the carbon footprint of travel, and know that when you depart, you not only increased your well being, but also the health of the planet!

Why Now?

We recognize that there is a need for radical self-care, a reacquainting with magic-at-will, larger cycles, and a reintegration of the sensory full body experience.  In a world where there is a dramatic exposure and burnout from over-stimulating activities, we wanted to create a container of experience and immersion.  A consciousness awaking ‘think-tank’ where we could offer the plethora of experience we have gleaned through many years with incredible teachers… and share them at an incredibly reasonable exchange of energy, your financial donation and participation!  We wanted to diversify programs and assure each participant that we are truly open-minded and openhearted, ready to receive all types of human beings.  We know that many in our community have been tapped, hit hard with the constant barrage of information and social upheaval as the planetary consciousness asks each to step into their power of creative magic.  While trees fall all over the planet, while waters run foul, we offer more than hope; we offer direct, magical activism that transmutes apathy, fear, and delusion into change, transformation and metamorphosis.   Now more than ever, as we choose how to gather, how to travel when so much is at stake, we invite you to come and join us- to become the new thought leaders, learn about full spectrum radical arts, and attune your body to the new consciousness awakening!
